--INF/OF Ryan Freel, whom the Cubs obtained Friday in a trade with Baltimore, was supposed to start Saturday, but he was a late lineup scratch with a tight left hamstring. He pinch-hit Sunday, singled and got picked off second base.
--LF Alfonso Soriano hit his 10th homer. It marked the fourth time in his career that he has reached 10 homers in a season in 30 or fewer games. MEDICAL WATCH:
RHP Chad Fox (right elbow) was hurt May 9, and he was placed on the disabled list May 10.
1B Derrek Lee (sore neck) did not play May 6-10. He had an MRI on May 10.
3B Aramis Ramirez (dislocated right shoulder) went on the 15-day disabled list May 9. He will miss at least five weeks.
RHP Carlos Zambrano (strained left hamstring) went on the 15-day disabled list May 4. He is expected to be out at least 2 1/2 weeks.
