Janine C. Hayes, age 75, a resident of Norridge, IL, formerly of Oak Park, IL, passed away Monday, Nov. 24, 2008 at Lutheran General Hospital, Park Ridge, IL, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.\
Janine was preceded in death by her parents and older sister,Patricia (the late Hugh) Kerns.\ She is survived by her sister, Grace (Richard) McNamara; as well as a loving extended family of two brothers; 12 nieces and nephews, including Kathy (John) Lonergan and David (Rachelle) McNamara; many great-nieces and great-nephews; and a number of treasured friends.\
Janine was proud of her service in the U.S. Navy as a member of the Reserves from 1953-1957, as well as her many years of work for First National Bank and Sears.\
She was a lifelong sports fan who especially loved the Chicago Cubs .\
Memorial Visitation Saturday, Nov. 29, 2 to 5 p.m. atFriedrich-Jones Funeral Home, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville, IL. Memorial Services will follow at 5 p.m. in the funeral home.\
Interment private.\
