Rich Harden puts the Cubs in a hole early as the Marlins jumped out to a 5-1 lead after 3 1/2 innings. Theyve come back thanks to their OT players. Mike Fontenot drove in two with two hits and a sacrifice fly. Theriot put them on top, however, with a grand slam. The Cubs lead 8-5 going to the ninth. Harden walked four and struck out two. He hasnt been lights out this year as hes allowed five home runs, but his control was great. That abandoned him today, and he got knocked around. Thanks to the bullpen and the offense, he wont get a loss.
